Good morning, As you know today is our third NTID Day. Today students are to work on the assignments they downloaded to their iPad from math, social studies, related arts and fine arts courses. Students will have two school days after returning from the NTID to submit work. Assignments should take about an hour per subject assigned today. Teachers will be available by email, phone, Rooms or Teams for student questions from 10 am to 3 pm. I will send exam information later today. Stay safe and warm. Mrs. Shumaker
Good afternoon. Today, Thursday January 16th, 2025, will be a Non-Traditional Instruction Day for all Taylor County Schools. This is NTI Day #3 for students. Students will learn from home and staff are to be available for support, from their assigned work site, from 10-3pm. Parents and Guardians are asked to review our NTID Family Plan video for more information on student expectations, available teacher supports, and meal availability for students. This video can be viewed on our Taylor County Schools website, YouTube channel, and social media page.

As of December 31st, 14.0% of West Virginia high school seniors have completed a FAFSA. WV has established a FAFSA Completion goal of 60 percent of 12th grade students who will complete a FAFSA by April 15, 2025. Financial aid is a crucial part of helping students pay for post-secondary training. At this time, 14.9% of our seniors have completed the FAFSA application.
