
To celebrate CTE Month, we are featuring a Career and Technical Education (CTE) student each day throughout February. National Technical Honor Society Seniors will receive their purple and white graduation cords during the Inductions Ceremony scheduled for February 21, 2025.

During this morning's AA Assembly, Mrs. Dalton shared information about the upcoming SCORES Competition. Students, please see your grade level, graduating class TEAMS for the full SCORES handbook describing each event requirement.
SCORES is an academic competition at Marshall University on Friday, April 4th. You must have a 3.0 GPA and no discipline issues to compete. Permission forms can be picked up and dropped off in Ms. Dalton's room (110). Permission forms are due on Thursday, February 20th. This is a school approved absence.


Bus Announcement: Bus # 80 will not run today, Tuesday, Jan. 29th. Middle School and High School students who normally ride that bus will be transported home on Bus # 24 or #25

It's time to organize the after prom committee. We are searching for parents and community members interested in helping this year. This is a wonderful event that provides our students a safe place to go after prom. The planning committee is forming soon, and it takes several people to organize it. This is an event that was created by parents and community members and has continued to be organized by wonderful volunteers. Prom is April 26. Attentions Students Scheduled to Take Exams -
With the 2 hour delay tomorrow, the exam schedule for day 1 of exams had to be modified. We will still take exams in periods 1, 2, 7 and 8. The new schedule is below.
Also, the UTC bus will not run tomorrow since it is a 2-hour delay and exams.


All Taylor County Schools will begin on a two-hour delay tomorrow, Friday, January 24th, 2025.


Attention Seniors - The make-up portrait pay, last call, has been postponed to February 4th.

Good afternoon, As you know tomorrow is our fourth NTID Day. For Thursday, January 23, 2025, students are to work on the assignments they downloaded to their iPad from Engilsh, science and CTE courses. Students will have two school days after returning from the NTID to submit work. Assignments should take about an hour per subject assigned. Teachers will be available by email, phone, Rooms or Teams for student questions from 10 am to 3 pm.
As of now, Friday will be our first exam day. Exams for Friday will be periods 1, 2, 7, and 8. The exam schedule is posted in Rooms and LiveGrades.

Tomorrow, Thursday January 23rd, 2025, will be a Non-Traditional Instruction Day for all Taylor County Schools. This is NTI Day #4 for students. Students will learn from home and staff are to be available for support, from their assigned work site, from 10am-3pm.
