A note regarding NHS applications...
All juniors and seniors eligible for National Honor Society were notified prior to Thanksgiving break and had the opportunity to collect the packet. If you think you are eligible and were not notified, please email the NHS Sponsor, Mrs. Gainer, at dmgainer@k12.wv.us or call the school to speak with her.
Applications are due by 3:30 pm Friday, December 9. Any questions should be directed to Mrs. Gainer.

Today Mrs. Saffle's Therapeutic Services students did a project where they made a diagram of the heart on the floor, labeled it and then walked through it to simulate blood flow and oxygen exchange.

The last chance for senior make up portraits is Monday, November 14. If you do not get a senior portrait, you will not be in the yearbook. This is NOT the same as pictures on underclassmen day. Come dressed in dress shirt, sweater, shirt and tie, etc… You may also elect to wear the wrap or dress shirts Lifetouch provides. If you have questions, see an administrator Thursday.

The West Taylor Elementary School PTO is hosting a Parents Night Out on December 2nd from 6pm to 9pm and they are looking for high school volunteers who would be helping to chaperone a movie and game night for elementary students (pre-K to 4th grade). See graphic for contact info
