
You are invited to join us for the 2024 GHS Homecoming Parade on Wednesday, October 16th at 6:00 pm! We will be starting at the beginning of Main Street by the bridge and continuing on until we get to the high school.
Thank you to Mr. Tennant for being this year's Parade Marshal! We are honored to have someone leading our parade this year who has dedicated so much time and passion to Taylor County Schools.


These are the current participants that we have for the 2024 Homecoming Parade. If you are not listed and would like to be, you must let us know by this Friday. Please contact Mrs. Himes at taylor.himes@k12.wv.us as soon as possible to be added to the lineup. The lineup will be finalized on Friday.

GHS CLASS OF 2024: If you have a sibling who currently attends Grafton High School and would like them to pick up your yearbook, they can do so as long as they give Miss Tammy a note from either you or a parent stating that permission is given for them to pick them up for you. They will not be released to anyone else besides you, a parent, or sibling (with a note) given to the main office.


ATTENTION GHS CLASS OF 2024: If you ordered a yearbook last year, they will be available for pick up in the main office beginning Monday, October 14th.

Attention any junior or senior interested in pursuing a military career --
The ASVAB assessment will be administered Wednesday, October 23, at 8:00 in the Mary Battle Studio. The ASVAB is a test designed to determine qualification for enlistment in the United States Armed Forces and can also be used for career exploration even if you’re not interested in a military career.
If you are interested, please sign up as soon as possible with Mr. Mahon in the counselor’s office. There is no cost for this assessment.


GHS NTHS wrapped up their first monthly meeting of the year by sending thoughts and prayers to Western North Carolina (home to the National Technical Honor Society Headquarters) which recently suffered devastating impacts from Hurricane Helene.
