We have received many questions regarding iPads for students enrolled in summer coursework.
As previously shared by the TCS Technology Department, all student devices were collected at the end of the school year and are currently being held while a new statewide web content filter required by the West Virginia Department of Education is implemented.
Due to federal E-Rate and CIPA requirements, student devices cannot be distributed until the approved content filter is fully installed and active.
At this time, the TCS Technology Department is still awaiting additional information regarding installation, deployment, and training before a timeline for iPad distribution can be announced.
Students who have access to a personal device are encouraged to use it for summer coursework until school-issued devices become available.
We understand the importance of device access and will share updates as soon as more information becomes available, including pickup details for students enrolled in summer classes.
Thank you for your patience, understanding, and continued support.
