🎉🌟✈️ Our Hispanic Honor Society members had an incredible adventure on their recent field trip to Pittsburgh, PA! 🌟✨
Exploring the vibrant city, our students visited some iconic landmarks including Point State Park, PPG Plaza, The Duquesne Incline, and The Square Station. It was a day filled with history, culture, and breathtaking views!
But the highlight of the trip was undoubtedly the Spanish Night Student Dinner Cruise. 🚢🌙 Picture this: authentic Hispanic cuisine, music, and dancing under the stars as we sailed along the river. It was a truly unforgettable experience, and a perfect way to bond with friends and celebrate our heritage.
Special congratulations to Justin Gainer for showcasing his knowledge and winning the Cultural Trivia Contest among representatives from 8 different schools. ¡Excelente trabajo, Justin! 🏆👏
Muchas gracias /Thank you to everyone who made this trip possible, and to our amazing students for representing our school with such pride and enthusiasm. Here's to many more adventures and memories together! 💃🕺 #HispanicHonorSociety #CulturalExchange #PittsburghAdventures 🌟🎉

The biology classes today finally got to utilize the stream behind the high school! Fairmont State biology instructor Kelly Flaherty and volunteers from Save the Tygart came to work with our students today. Students participated in a stream study and were able to measure things like the pH of the water, the bugs that live in the stream and several other factors that affect the health of the stream. It was a great day, and we look forward to working in the stream and with the Save the Tygart organization more in the future.

Congratulations to our GHS Welding raffle winner, Mr. Mark Zeck. Thank you to all who donated and purchased tickets. Enjoy your new trailer, Mr. Zeck 🥳🐾
