Members of the Spring Fling Court were recognized Saturday night at the Mardi Gras Dance, a dance for 8th grade students at TCMS. What makes the Court different than most dances is that members are nominated by submitting an essay to 8th grade teachers with the theme: “What Charity Means To Me”. Court members and their Escorts fundraise for the school’s Christmas Fund. Last year, 65 families were helped in Taylor County with this fund. Students and their parents/guardians held gift basket raffles, sold candy grams, held Pajama Day at the school, among other creative events to help with this fundraiser. This year’s members to raise the most money was Emmalyn Rush, featured in the photo with her escort Jake Davis. We give a big Knights’ Shout-Out to all participants for your gift to your community!

Rachel's Challenge today for our students was a big success. One of our many initiatives to put a stop to bullying, being kind to one another and spreading love to everyone in the building! Thank you to the presenter for doing an excellent job and thank you to all of the teachers for participating in the event.
