Last evening Sra. Skaggs and Srta. Romine hosted "Taco Tuesday on a Monday" to celebrate National Hispanic Heritage Month.
Over 150 individuals enjoyed the program that included student presentations, dancing, live music, a fashion show and food.
Thank you to everyone who attended and supported the event. It was the first time we have hosted this event, and it was a great success.





With the end of the first 6 weeks, mark your calendars for parent/guardian/teacher conferences. Everyone is encouraged to attend and to bring your student with you. If your student has an F, you will receive a letter that includes a grade report and requesting your attendance.

Attention Juniors and Seniors-
Our first industry day this year will be Friday, 10/14. Juniors will attend at 9 and seniors at 10.
The focus for this day is hospitality!


The PSAT will be given on Wednesday, October 12th from 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM to all Sophomores and a select number of Juniors. This exam allows students the opportunity to understand the steps involved in taking a college board examination and for some an opportunity to pursue a National Merit Scholarship. Students will report directly to their testing site on Wednesday. Rosters and testing locations will be posted in front of the cafeteria the morning of. A snack will be provided during the test and lunch will be offered after. Students are expected to return to their afternoon classes at the conclusion of lunch. Please refer any additional questions to Mr. Knopp.

Students in Sra. Skaggs and Srta. Romine’s Spanish classes had the opportunity to make homemade tortillas with Sra. Soledad Latham today. She taught the students how to make homemade tortillas. Then they made quesadillas. Thank you to Sra. Latham for being our guest and doing the demonstration.



Ms. Dalton and her English 10 students have started a new digital publication at Grafton High School.

Our 2022 Homecoming Dance will be held this Saturday, October 1st in the Commons area outside of the Scotty Hamilton gymnasium. It is $5 per person at the door. See you there, Bearcats!
