Congratulations to Zach Nibert! We wish you the best in your next steps at WVU!
The NSF S-STEM funded program “Attracting and Cultivating Cybersecurity Experts and Scholars through Scholarships” (ACCESS) at West Virginia University has a goal to increase the cybersecurity-related degree completion of high-achieving undergraduate students with demonstrated financial need and thus help address the tremendous unmet need for highly skilled cybersecurity experts, both in the state of West Virginia and nationwide.
The ACCESS scholarship is very prestigious, awarded to the best WVU students and incoming freshmen. So far, the ACCESS scholarships were awarded to 32 students who pursue B.S. or Area of Emphasis in Cybersecurity at West Virginia University, with additional 18 new scholarships awarded for the 2023/24 academic year.
In addition to scholarships, the ACCESS program provides numerous co-curricular activities and student support services and has strengthened its partnerships with employers from the public and private sectors.
