Grafton High School celebrated and recognized Veterans Day this afternoon with an assembly. Thank you to our GHS Band for opening the program with the playing of the National Anthem. Thank you to American Legion Post 12 for their time in sharing important information for our students. Thank you to our GHS Entertainers for beautifully singing, "America (My Country, 'Tis of Thee)." American Legion Post members pictured L to R: David “Robbie” Robinson, Dave Hoag, Doug Robinson.
Students in Digital Imaging 1 recently learned new techniques in Adobe Photoshop and applied those skills to colorize a historical, black and white photograph during Veterans Day Week. Featured is the Before and After project created by sophomore, Rylan Sylva. Students were tasked to select a historical image, write a reflection about the event's significance, and to colorize and add text to the image. Rylan chose D-Day, the invasion of the beaches at Normandy in northern France by troops from the United States.
Veterans, thank you for your service!

We appreciate the support. 💙💛 📚
