Grafton High School was invited by U.S. Senator Manchin's office to join a Zoom meeting with the Senator on Wednesday, September 25 focused on applying for our nation's Armed Forces academies.
There were several West Virginia high schools also in this Zoom meeting. Senior Cam Foley had the opportunity to ask a question to the Senator. Approximately 25 students from GHS watched the Zoom meeting.
To apply for one of the academies, students must be nominated by one of West Virginia's Congressional delegation. Applications for nominations are due October 1st.
There were several underclass students interested in the process. If you are interested in attending an Armed Forces academy, see your counselor.

Please consider donating snacks/drinks for our homecoming dance. All donations can be dropped off at the main office from now until October 14th.

The Homecoming Closet will be available in the hallway outside of Room 207 beginning this Friday. If you are in need of a dress or formal wear for the dance, you are encouraged to see what is available. All items are free to GHS students. Please see Mrs. Eskridge if you have any questions.
