Day 1 of the Hedgesville Duals is in the books. The Bearcats put up a respectable fight against 4A and 5A opponents as well as a 34-34 win by criteria over a tough Wheeling Central team.
Maverick Bartsch had a great start to his freshman campaign going 5-0 while teammates Noah Nestor, Blake Eskridge, and Braxton Rush went a 3-2 picking up big wins against quality opponents. Isaac Young, Jeven Poling, Nathaniel Bailey, Gabe Young, and Landon Whetsell also put up respectable performances.
Your Bearcats will be back in action Saturday morning for day two of the Hedgesville Duals.

Congratulations to students in Mrs. Bolyard's Business Computer Application classes for achieving Microsoft Word Certification, an industry recognized credential.
Students received a certificate and digital badge. Students may also use the credential to enhance their resumes.

The Hispanic Honor Society would like to express our heartfelt gratitude to everyone who purchased raffle tickets to support our fundraiser. Thanks to your generosity, along with the incredible monetary donations from Mrs. Ann Jane Shrive and Mrs. Jennifer Biller, we were able to raise $1,000 to send to the Anthony Love Legacy Foundation in Sra. Skaggs’ hometown in Venezuela.
The funds will be used to purchase Christmas gifts for children in need, bringing joy and hope to their holiday season. 🎁✨
