
Anna Jarvis Elementary School will not be be having the after school program on Wednesday, March 16 and Thursday, March 17. We will resume with the program on Monday, March 21st.

This week for Music in Our Schools Month the students are reviewing The Lion King musical. So our SPIRIT day is Tuesday for the students to wear clothes with animal print or a picture of an animal.


Due to staffing concerns, on Thursday, March 17, Taylor County Schools will operate on a 2 hour delay.


March is Music in Our Schools Month and each week students will learn about a different musical. We will have special guest performers each week. We will also have different theme spirit days. The first spirit day is tomorrow with silly sock day.


Join us as we show our support for the GHS Boys Basketball as they play Elkins High school Tigers on Tuesday evening.

Celebrate Reading Spirit Week continues with "Cat in the Hat" Day! We encourage everyone to wear red, black, and white as we celebrate Dr. Theodore Seuss Geisel's Birthday. Also, reminder we do have a 2 hour early dismissal on Wednesday. Parent pick up will begin at 12:50.


Reminder that tomorrow, Wednesday, March 2nd, is a 2 hour early dismissal for all Taylor County students.


We are collecting old eyeglasses this week. Please send them in a bag with your child to school.

The Taylor County Board of Education voted to remove masks on all buses, facilities and activities. Face coverings will be optional based on personal or family choice.


Students and staff enjoyed a two minute dance party this afternoon in the hallways and classrooms at 2:22 to celebrate “Twosday,” 2-22-22!
