During spring break the Taylor County Board of Education will be applying a level 4 herbicide around the back of Anna Jarvis Elementary School. The taped off area will be closed from Tuesday the 19th through Sunday the 24th.

Mrs. Knight's Kindergarten class had a special visitors on Friday as they finished their week long study of oviparous animals. Thank you to the Collin's family brining in chicks and ducks for the students to see and hold.

Music in Our Schools Month continues with the theme this week being the musical "The Music Man." Thursday we encourage everyone to wear a shirt or accessory with a music group or instrument on them. Mrs. Poling sent home a paper that students can make a necklace to wear that day too.
